Overview

The Department of Radiology at Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur started with an X-Ray machine in 1931.  Over the years it has kept pace with time and has all imaging facilities available to its patients such as Digital Radiography, Ultrasound with Colour Doppler, Anomaly Scan, Foetal heart echo, Mammography with Tomosynthesis, CT Scan (32 and 128 Slice), MRI (1.5 and 3 Tesla) and certain interventional procedures.

Tata Main Hospital is the first hospital in Eastern India to install Picture Archival and Communication System and Digital Radiology.  It is also amongst the first to be filmless – with the aim to provide services with minimal Carbon footprint.

TMH, is the affiliated hospital for Manipal TATA Medical College. The collocated Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital.

The Radiological services are provided as a team by TMH, Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital & collocated Meherbai Tata Memorial Hospital.
