CME

The Continuing Medical Education (CME) sessions were born out of a need for comprehensive knowledge sharing on specific topics, which the Clinical Society with its practical base was not able to fulfill. CME sessions have been a weekly feature in TMH for the past 10 years.

A committee decides the thrust areas for the CME sessions that are then shared by different specialties to cover all aspects. For example, if a need is felt to provide an update on renal disorders, a series of lectures is planned starting from basics like renal physiology leading on to specific medical and surgical conditions and the investigations of such disorders.

Such theoretical inputs benefit DNB students and senior doctors alike, by refreshing basic knowledge and providing a window to other specialties.
