There are 13 wards and 73 cabins with A/C facility. Indoor patients are treated in wards, organised according to specialties. 14 operation theatres serve the Surgery, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Otorhinolarygology and Obstetrics & Gynaecology departments.
Obstetrics and Gynaecological surgeries are carried out in its designated Gynaecology operation theatre (GOT). The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology has a labour room with an adjacent neonatal unit. All other surgeries are carried out in the main OT complex. Eye surgeries are done at Eye Hospital, Sakchi, which is not part of TMH.
Critical patients are treated in the IMCU, ICU, CCU, PICU, HDU and Cathlab while burns cases are treated in the BCU.
